I’m amazed there are still user interfaces out there that has icons with no tooltips (display of description when hovered). It’s such a simple easy thing to implement that makes world of a difference yet people still get lazy and assume everyone will understand exactly what each of those icons mean. I’m sure you’ve worked pretty hard to implement whatever feature/pages those icons lead to.. don’t they deserve a proper marketing?
Is this the same guy that pitched a fit when I wanted words under the action icons in iPhone Mobile Workspace?
